Where it started
How Unmapped Paths began
It started with a frustration: every trip felt the same. The same packages, the same photo-stops, the same rushed days that left no room to actually feel a place.
So the first itinerary was built the opposite way - from a blank page, around one traveller and how they actually wanted to move through Ladakh. No template, no upsell, no call centre. Just deep research and a plan that felt personal.
That trip changed people. Unmapped Paths grew from wanting to do it again, and again, for travellers who want more than the guidebook.

Unmapped Paths grew from years of travelling with curiosity and planning every journey from scratch.
What started by helping friends gradually became a boutique travel studio built around thoughtful planning, local discoveries and journeys that feel deeply personal.
Today, every itinerary still begins the same way - with listening first, researching deeply and designing around the traveller rather than the destination.
